An introductory Membership fee rate has been set at £185, this will be reviewed regularly.

Membership Agreement:

  1. To register and apply for membership to become an active member of Singh & Kaur Introductions, all persons should be eighteen years or older to participate.
  2. Registration to Singh & Kaur Introductions is £185 and annually renewed.
  3. Membership to Singh & Kaur Introductions is reserved exclusively for baptised Sikhs (or those committed to becoming baptised) (including divorced/widowed/not yet married Gursikhs)
  4. Married, separated or engaged individuals are not permitted to join Singh & Kaur Introductions.
  5. Singh & Kaur Introductions are not refundable.
  6. All information provided on the membership form is confidential and we only share certain information with fellow members.
  7. Facilitators at Singh & Kaur Introductions are not responsible for investigating individuals (background checks) and make no representation as to their character.
  8. To avoid going against the teachings of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, by doing possible gossip and slander, members are requested not to discuss with other members, details of who they met previously and the outcomes of those meetings. Singh & Kaur Introductions reserve the right to cancel the membership of any individual without representation, if suspected of engaging in gossip or slander.
  9. Members are expected to take a proactive role in communicating with facilitators on a regular basis.
  10. There is no limit to the amount of profiles members can receive.
  11. Singh & Kaur Introductions is not a marriage bureau and therefore does not guarantee or be held responsible if members do not meet their life partner.
  12. Facilitators do not take responsibility in the event that another member does not communicate with another member for whatever reason.
  13. In the unlikely event, that a member does not connect with any other member during the duration of their membership, facilitators will happily extend their membership free of charge for 6 months.
  14. We reserve the right to cancel any membership at anytime, should any member be found to be married, separated, engaged, dishonest in the information provided or whose behaviour we find unethical in accordance to the teachings of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.
  15. We ask all members to not engage in behaviour which contradicts the teachings of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.
  16. When arranging a meeting with another member, if for some reason the appointment cannot be kept, the other party must be notified accordingly and as soon as possible, so as to prevent any inconvenience or embarrassment.
  17. Facilitators will be involved with initial face to face introductions and when meeting for the first time with another member, it might well be held at a discrete public space/venue organised by your facilitator.
  18. Personal details of members cannot be shared with non-members.
  19. Members must inform their facilitator of their status if they are Not Available for meeting other members.
  20. We cannot safeguard the information you share with other members.
  21. We are not responsible for any damage (monetary, physical, or psychological), (including, but not limited to), direct or indirect, incidental or consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, resulting from your use of our services.
  22. If you choose to terminate membership at any stage, please email us at singhkaurintroductions@gmail.com in the Subject line type ‘Cancellation of membership’, and in body of email please state reason. Kindly do not text (SMS) or WhatsApp us of your intention to withdraw/cancel/resign. You will continue to have membership until your membership expires. If you cancel your membership for any reason, we will not refund any prepaid fees, regardless of whether you give us notice to cancel your membership or not.
  23. You agree to indemnify Singh & Kaur Introductions and its facilitators from any claims of damage resulting from any introduction, including (but not limited to) being held responsible or liable for any problems that may arise from friendships or relationships formed and thus indemnifies itself against any such incidents. Singh & Kaur Introductions and its facilitators, will not be liable for any legal fees under any circumstances.
  24. Singh & Kaur Introductions, will NOT in any way whatsoever, be held responsible should a third party “apply” for membership without the prior knowledge on behalf of another person. Even if the third party settles the membership fee without the prior knowledge on behalf of person and this person declines membership – the onus is on the person to take action with the third party:
  25. Singh & Kaur Introductions, will not be held responsible or liable in anyway whatsoever. Membership fees will NOT be refundable or transferable. Furthermore, Singh & Kaur Introductions, will not be responsible or liable for any legal costs that might incur.
  26. Members agree to take every precaution when meeting individuals through our service.
  27. The Facilitators may modify this Agreement at any time at their sole option and discretion. We will notify you of changes by posting them on our website or posting you a direct email, at our sole option and discretion. Your sole option shall be to accept such modifications or to discontinue using our service.
  28. Active members will receive a Six months free membership for every referral i.e. For every person who registers with Singh & Kaur Introductions, activates their membership by paying a Membership fee.
  29. You agree to abide by all the Terms and Conditions listed in this document in order to become and to remain an authorised member of Singh & Kaur Introductions.
  30. Singh & Kaur Introductions, reserve the right to decline membership if applicant does not adhere to our Code of Conduct as prescribed by Siri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.
  31. According to the Data Protection Act, you understand and agree, that your personal information will be treated in the strictest confidence.
  32. To this end, you understand and hereby agree that: Singh & Kaur Introductions will not be held responsible or liable for any reason / in any which way whatsoever, should a member misuse another member’s information at any time/for any purpose during or after relationship with any other members (including, but not limit to) any information that members might have provided to or shared with other members.
